CHICKEN STEW

Ingredients :

Chicken - 500 gm
Onion - 1 (finely sliced)
Potato -1 
Carrot -1 
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 Tbsp
GreenChillies -3,4 (According to ur taste)
Cardomom and cinnemon - 2 each 
Pepper crushed -2 tspn
Thin coconut milk -1 cup 
Thick coconut milk -1 cup
Salt -to taste
Curryleaves
Oil

Method :

Heat oil and ghee in a heavy bottomed vessel, add few curry leaves, cloves, cinnamon, cardamom and saute for few secs till the aroma comes. Add garlic ginger paste and saute for few secs. Add the green chillis and sliced onions and fry for 4 mts.
 Add turmeric pwd and combine. Add the chicken pieces and cook over medium heat for 7-8 mts. Add the thin coconut milk and salt and combine. Cook without lid for 5-6 mts. Add potato cubes , carrot and  place lid. Simmer till the chicken and potatoes turn tender and the gravy thickens.  Add the thick coconut milk, few fresh curry leaves,pepper pwd and combine.Turn off the heat before it boil. Serve warm with appam, rice or roti.
