KADACHAKKA THORAN


KADACHAKKA THORAN(BILATHICHAKKA)

Ingredients:
kadachakka - 2 cups cubed (after removing the green exterior )
Turmeric powder -1/2 tsp
Pepper Powder-1/2 tspn
Green chilly -2
Coconut -1/2 cup (grated )
Salt to taste
For seasoning :Oil - 1tbspDry red chilly -2Mustard seed 1/2 tspUrad dal - 1/4 tspCurry leaves -1 spring


Method :
Heat oil in a pan and  splutter mnustard seed, urad dal . Add red chilly and curry leaves and fry .
Add the chopped kadachakka  , turmeic powder ,pepper powder and salt. Mix well , cover with a lid and cook on a low flame till soft. If needed sprinke some water to cook.
Add  coconut mixture and stir well.
